What's worth watching:

Last Resort

What's not:
666 Park Avenue
The New Normal
Vegas

What's still on the cusp:
Go On
Revolution
The Mindy Project

What I know nothing about:

  1. We're really liking The New Normal. One of the characters is a littttttle too camp for my taste- read: annoying- but everyone else has grown on me. It seems like a cross between Modern Family and Arrested Development: two shows I love. Also, the overly sexy/ racist grandma is by far my favorite.

We tried the series premier of Revolution and ending up turning it off midway through. It was like a LOST knockoff. A bad LOST knockoff.

    1. You liking "The New Normal" is making me question my taste. And yours. Yeah, Revolution kinda sucks. But I'm still watching it until I get too bored with it.

  2. Partners - skip it
Elementary - J said it was like The Mentalist, but with a Brit actor (i.e it's been done before)
Real Housewives of Miami - I've decided not to watch this one. There is enough trash on TV.

    1. I can do only one Real Housewives show at a time, and the New York one is wrapping up. That one is so good.

  3. I'd have to disagree about the show "Vegas". Dennis Quaid plays a really good role and a Sherif/Rancher thats trying to keep the people of his community safe and maintian his way of life as a rancher. He has to deal a Chicago gangster that he suspects kill the casino worker. Its kind of like a new age Texas Ranger. I cant wait till Chicago Fire starts and this year I wont even have to set my DVR timer in order to make sure it records.

    1. I know -- I watched the pilot. I wasn't impressed. Although the chick from the Matrix is in it. Which is weird. I'll probably sit this one out.

  4. I caught the tail end of The Mindy Project and really liked it!

I watch mostly shows on HBO and Showtime. I forget about the networks. Maybe they should charge me extra and then I would feel compelled to watch them in order to get my money's worth.

    1. We watch the cable channels, too ... we lead a very full life of television-watching. Dexter looks like it's gonna be better this season! I'm a little bored with Boardwalk Empire, though, ever since the whole Darmody disaster.

  5. All sitcoms are terrible. You're welcome.

The only one of these I'm watching is "Elementary", having read "Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" this summer and loved it. I'm a fan.

    1. Hmm. Maybe I'll try to catch the pilot on demand and see how I feel ...

  6. I haven't seen any of these. But I do like Sherlock Holmes.

My new guilty pleasure: GCB. I don't think I'd like it if I didn't live in the south though.
