The final quarter

I guess one way of looking at the year is in quarters. Each quarter would have three months and if life were a corporation, you would have to evaluate your budget at the end of each quarter and tweak your strategy so you could accomplish all the goals you'd planned at the beginning of the year.

My New Year's resolution list is around here somewhere. I'm afraid to pull it out and look at it, frankly. I already know I've dropped the ball on too many projects.

With three months left in the year, I feel a renewed sense of urgency and desire to get things done. I have three major projects in mind. I don't want to tell you what they are because I don't want to curse it -- kind of like how you aren't supposed to say what you wished when you're blowing out your birthday candles. Let's just say they pertain to my "job," my health, and my home.

You know me. If I get these things done, I'll be blogging about them.

What about you? Do you sense the end of the year looming? Have you accomplished what you set out to do?
